The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 13, Number 43                                                                                                             October 25, 1991

My Beloved Friends,

Of all the ceremonies which are regularly held during any given year, there is none of more significance to the welfare of the planet Earth and its inhabitants than the meetings of the Karmic Board. Although the two half-yearly Councils follow a similar pattern, there will be some differences in the ceremonies because of the specific circumstances and needs of the hour. 

The basic facts that the Members of the Karmic Board take into consideration are: the most urgent needs of the planet at the pre­sent time; the most urgent needs of the lifestreams who are embodied at a given time; how many guardian spirits are embodied at the time; and the degree of dedication of the guardian spirits to the Principle of the highest good for all concerned. There are other concerns also, but these are the most important.

Most of you are guardian spirits, having incarnated with the pure intent of working for the good of this planet. As my brother Hilarion has reminded you, many of the guardians have, through contagion of human consciousness, fallen into the sleep of the spiritually unaware. This is not uncommon. However, it is also true that these souls, although enmeshed in the illusion for the moment, have the possibility of awakening quickly if there are enough calls made on their behalf. This is because their memories are closer to the surface of their conscious awareness, if their brothers and sisters, who came with the same common purpose, know what they can do to help them.

As we approach the end of the year, it would be of tremendous help to the work if others of the guardian spirits can be awakened. Therefore, I ask that you make these calls. It might even be put in the form of a petition, if some of you so desire. It has been suggested that you use a simple statement, which will add very little to the work that you normally do, such as:

"We call on the 'I AM' Presences and the Holy Christ Selves of every chela of Light, and all our brothers and sisters in the Family of Man, to join us in service now!

Let all agree that unity and brotherhood shall be established, and Peace be brought forth from the inner realms to all mankind and the planet Earth RIGHT NOW, and ETERNALLY SUSTAINED!

SO BE IT, BELOVED 'I AM'!"

Please add this simple decree, or one of your own designs, to your daily work, both personally and within your groups. This will bring a tremendous added impetus to all that is before us to be done.
