As most of you may be aware, over the past year the Executive Council has had an ongoing dialogue with The Bridge members regarding the need for changes in our organization, especially to our Articles of Incorporation and By-laws. At the June Symposium these changes were discussed by all present and a final draft was created. In September after additional examination this draft was officially ratified and put in place.

As a result of these modifications the membership requirements have made another transformation. To recognize special chelas who over many, many years have offered extraordinary service, a level of Lifetime membership has been created.

The Full level of membership will continue to be offered to those who wish to actively support and participate in all aspects of The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom's day-to-day needs and activities. Membership will be for those chelas who wish to regularly attend and participate in the conferences, symposiums and other events offered by The Bridge and who desire to more fully support this organization financially. To assist in this effort a membership fee has been added as a requirement for membership.

The Associate level of membership will be gradually phased out. Only those currently in this category will be able to continue to apply for this level of membership. All other chelas who have been involved with The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom on many levels and forms over its long history may still maintain their ties to this organization by subscribing to our ongoing publication, to be monthly as of January 1, 2005.

After going over the many wonderful thoughts and ideas sent to Headquarters and shared during the June Symposium we have incorporated your suggestions and created the -Gift of Light, which stands for divine Love, Illumination, Gratitude, Humility and Transformation. Instead of quarterly, this new publication will go out each month. It will continue to include the Electronic Pattern, Breathing Statement and President's Message. There will continue to be old and new discourses published according to the planetary needs of the hour. We will also often include an invocation or decree in each issue.

Many of you mentioned that you would like to hear about the activities taking place at the new Payson Headquarters so we will include material to keep you well informed. We are also still working out the details of how to incorporate some of your suggestions into the Gift of Light.

As I have stated many times before, this is truly a time of great change and I hope with these and many other modifications and adjustments The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom will continue to transform to more perfectly serve each and every chela and ultimately the entire planet Earth. Keep your comments and ideas coming because beloved ones, you are an integral part of this ongoing transformation!
